The Nissan Note NISMO is a high-performance variant of Nissan’s compact hatchback, developed by its motorsports division, NISMO. It is primarily available in the Japanese market and spans two generations: the E12 (2014–2020) and the newer E13-based Note Aura NISMO (2021–present). Model Generations & Performance
Note NISMO S (E12 / 2014–2020): This "hot hatch" version is highly sought after for its 5-speed manual transmission. It features a specially tuned 1.6L HR16DE engine producing 140ps.
Note e-POWER NISMO (E12 / 2016–2020): Uses the e-POWER hybrid system where a 1.2L engine generates electricity for a 109ps electric motor. The NISMO S e-POWER variant offers even stronger acceleration and sharper handling.
Note Aura NISMO (E13 / 2021–Present): Based on the premium "Aura" trim, this model is strictly e-POWER and features more aggressive aerodynamics and a wide-body design. A new 4WD variant was recently launched in 2024 to improve stability and cornering.
